Raleigh on Ice will offer families and visitors the opportunity to enjoy Raleigh’s newest holiday tradition at North Hills.
Other special events are being planned throughout Raleigh on Ice, including give away days, Free Admission Mondays (for skaters that bring 3 non-perishable food items to be donated to Raleigh Rescue Mission), Mommy and Kids Day, as well as Dinner and Skate Date Nights (with participating North Hills Restaurants).
In addition to providing a family friendly holiday activity for shoppers, the Raleigh on Ice ice skating rink is also environmentally friendly. The rink uses synthetic ice, a cutting edge technology that eliminates the need for the excessive water consumption and energy required to power a refrigerated rink, a great benefit in a climate where warm winter days are highly possible. Additionally, the rink provides a safer and easier skating experience for beginner skaters than refrigerated ice.
