With the help of our team, families, participating vendors and others, The RACH Kid’s Toy Store at the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill was created to benefit sick children and brighten their day. The Rachel Kendall Team Family Foundation will ensure that every child who stays at the House will have the opportunity to pick out a toy that puts a smile on their face. We are celebrating our third anniversary of The RACH Kid’s Toy Store during the month of May and look forward to continuing our partnership with the House. Give us a call at 919.782.4505 if you would like to donate a toy.

Mental Health Awareness month began in the United States in 1949 and was started by the Mental Health America (MHA) organization. May is used to raise awareness and educate the public about mental illnesses, the realities of living with these conditions, and strategies for attaining mental health and wellness. It also aims to draw attention to suicide, which can be precipitated by some mental illnesses. Additionally, Mental Health Awareness month strives to reduce the stigma that surrounds mental illnesses. This year’s theme is #Tools2Thrive.
