Leaving town on vacation for the holidays? The Rachel Kendall Team would like to share a few tips how to prepare your home for vacation.
1) Make arrangements for your mail. Either have the post office hold it or have a neighbor collect it daily for you.
2) Put the newspaper on hold.
3) Leave blinds and window treatments slightly open. Put a few indoor lights on timers. You don’t want the house to appear empty from the street.
4) Leave a radio on.
5) Leave a car in the driveway if you are flying to your destination.
